How to Apply

For the Fitzpatrick Trust’s 2026-2027 fiscal year, grant applications will be considered in one funding cycle only.

  • Letters of inquiry must be submitted by Friday 8/7/26 for review in August
  • Application deadline is Friday 10/16/26 for organizations invited to submit a full proposal
  • Proposals will be reviewed in November 2026

Please note that this is a two-step process

STEP 1: LETTER OF INQUIRY

If your project meets our guidelines, please email an LOI (no more than two pages) to office@fitzpatricktrust.org by the deadline posted above. Your letter should include:

  • Organization name, mission, and contact information
  • Project description and the specific need it addresses
  • Project start date and duration
  • Total project budget and requested funding range
  • Other anticipated funding sources (secured or requested)
  • A copy of your 501(c)(3) determination letter

The Trust will review inquiries and advise whether a full proposal is requested.

STEP 2: FULL PROPOSAL

Required documents for this step include:

  • A completed application cover sheet that we will provide you
  • An updated and detailed description of the project and desired outcomes
  • A project budget
  • An update on received and pending funding
  • Optional project images
  • We may request a site visit or interview
